Hey, hey, hey!

« on: May 15, 2006, 10:27:33 PM »

Hey fellow and fella JoeJoomla people - I want to introduce you to a new friend I met in Mambo today, inagmamboAko.

I have to admit -- I do not know ANY specifics -- I do not even know if inagmamboAko is a guy or a gal! LOL.

What I do know is this person is of like mind and has a good attitude, which includes trying to not fight over Mambo vs Joomla or what is best and what is worst. He/She (sorry!) has also looked at Drupal, so I am interested in hearing about that since Drupal is a tool I would like to explore, too.

I have explained that we avoid political talk here and (of course, try to maintain a SQUEAKY CLEAN ATMOSPHERE) but, other than that, there are no real "rules", except to have fun and try to support one another in this journey.

PLEASE join me in a HUGE WELCOME to inagmamboAko, our newest gang member!!!!! Smiley

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Now I am beginning to feel at home.
Again thank you!

Where do I start? or Where do I begin?..."to tell the story of how lonely life has been" --OK this is a song.
Not really my favorite but whenever I hear this song? I paused and just  Sad...yap, it was the song my
mom or dad used to sing/hum  when I was growing up... long time ago when the world was still young.

For sure I am a human being...
created from the image and likeness of the Creator --according to Religion.
And according to Darwin...Ah the Evolution!.
I can't pick which is which but all I know...egg + sperm = me.

My Genes is more in the Yang!
So they call me a guy.
Growing up a boy...
Now, A Man...
Yap, I am a guy.

Well, thanks for the rib, then! LOL! And welcome to the JoeJoomla Coffee Hut and GeekFest.

You'll love the other guys - they know a TON.

And, we are going to start running people through a metal detector -- in case Paki is packing. < He's from Texas, so, it is probably a good idea to check him out closely! >

Thanks again for joining us! Can't wait to hear more about Drupal. But for now, to sleep. Old woman. Tired.

Gnite everyone! Amy

welcome Smiley
if you don't agree that joomla > mambo i will shoot you!
just kidding :P

@paki
I agree with you 100%  of what you just said. I always remember the saying,
"If you are in Rome, you must dress, and act like a Roman..."
something like that...So in order for me not to be stoned, I always
agree with you!  Cheesy

But you cannot make me stop from using Mambo...I met Mambo first...
and joined its forum. I stayed in the thread "Local Installation" for about three months.
That thread alone...Again...
For three months, I never even visited other thread nor read other threads'
title (EXAGGERATION to make a point).

Then one day, when Local Installation's information could no longer answer some of
my questions...I stumbled threads where i heard the name Joomla! I tried Joomla too
using the Mambo knowledge/experience. Which is which? I don't have to choose.
They are both Free! they work together in my computer...like charm...

That is FUNNY!  Cool

Just so you know....again...for exaggeration to make a point...no-one here really cares what you use! As long as you have a good sense of humor and interesting things to say to help us make it through the day, we are all cool with that!

Plus, there are other Mambo-ers here. I have an installation of Mambo for kicking around as do I am certain most people here.

Iain Shaw is an original Mambo-er and still has Mambo sites - plus Joomla!. He's on both forums offering advice.

So, really, it's so not a problem. And, the reason YOU were invited in, is because I know YOU feel the same! Smiley

nite guys and gals...Amy

This is the continuation where I left from the last post.

I would like to respond the posts in this thread  as much as I could.

So here we go!

Just so you know....again...for exaggeration to make a point...no-one here really cares what you use!
As long as you have a good sense of humor and interesting things to say to
help us make it through the day, we are all cool with that!

I know and thanks for the reminder.
