Joomla Rock Star Rock stars are people who have celebrity status, or 'stardom' in their various industries. Joomla! has no shortage of them. Cory Webb, who I regard as a Joomla! rock star, described "How to Become a Joomla! Rockstar in 3 Easy Steps". He stated the steps are simply (1) Build a website with Joomla. (2) Learn from your mistakes (3) Repeats steps 1 & 2. This sounds like basic three chord rock and will certainly get you started toward rock star status in the Joomla! world.

Some Joomla! rock stars enjoy their celebrity and others loath it. For some it's all about the code and not about the people. For others it's about community involvement. Whatever you believe, Joomla! is as fascinating and colourful as any when

Recently I had a meeting with a product manager at a company who told me that their IT department had just been given approval to revamp their website. They are going to use an obsolete website development tool to create essentially a collection of static web pages. It's hard to believe that people are still putting resources into static HTML websites these days. It's obvious they have no idea what a true content management system like Joomla! is. Website systems like Joomla! are cost effective as well as easy to use and maintain. They are not going to be positioning themselves for the future with the decision that they made. Add a comment

approve So you have that great new blog going and you're really excited about it. You wrote what you think should be a popular entry and you have your commenting system enabled to capture all the great compliments that everyone is going to give you.

You are pumped as you hit the publish button on the blog and now you are anxiously waiting for the first comment. Waiting for the first one is like the new movie release date of a Hollywood blockbuster, if it doesn't get good attendance quickly it's more likely to be a flop than a winner.
